Boat Ride Through the Uvac Canyon – Complete Guide for Your Visit

If you want to experience one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Serbia, a boat ride through the Uvac Canyon is an experience you shouldn't miss.

A peaceful cruise through the meanders, views of steep cliffs, encounters with the griffon vulture, and a visit to the Ice Cave make this trip one of the most beautiful on the Pešter Plateau.

Guests of Etno Selo Vidikovac can organize a boat ride with prior reservation and enjoy one of the most stunning areas of the Uvac Special Nature Reserve.

What Will You See During the Ride?

The ride lasts about two hours and offers a completely different perspective of the Uvac Canyon.

During the cruise, you will pass between high limestone cliffs that rise above the calm waters of Sjenica Lake. Each bend reveals a new view of untouched nature, and the tranquility that prevails in this area leaves a special impression on every visitor.

One of the most beautiful moments of the trip is the opportunity to observe the griffon vulture up close, one of the largest birds of prey in Europe, which has its natural habitat right here.Beloglavi sup u letu iznad kanjona Uvca u Specijalnom rezervatu prirode Uvac.

Visit the Ice Cave

During the organized tour, you will also visit the famous Ice Cave, one of the most well-known caves in Serbia.

The cave is famous for its impressive cave decorations, stalactites, and stalagmites that have formed over thousands of years. The temperature inside is significantly lower than outside, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater even during the summer months.Unutrašnjost Ledene pećine na Uvcu sa impresivnim stalaktitima i stalagmitima.
